1. Training for schools and local
authorities
Training can tailor made to your needs. Available
in the following areas:
1.1 Improving confidence and motivation
- Self-esteem / Motivation –
Exploring the link between motivation and self-esteem. Looking at how staff
can help children to be more confident and motivated.
1.2 Managing difficult behaviour
- Concentration – Strategies
for encouraging the fiddlers and wrigglers to learn more effectively.
- Behaviour management –
Develop a shared set of rules and consequences. How to combat low-level disruptive
behaviour such as shouting out and name-calling.
- Anger management – Understanding
what happens during angry exchanges. What works and what to avoid.
- Beating the bullies –
Understand what is going on in a bullying situation. Opportunities for your
staff to explore how they are going to combat bullying.
- Circle Time – Introducing
Circle Time into schools. Opportunity to develop a series of lessons for your
staff to start them off.
